World Languages Mandarin Chinese - World: Guānxì Resource Center

About Us

This Web site serves as a resource to support the teaching and learning of Mandarin Chinese for K-12 learning environments by providing curriculum, materials, and language assessments, along with videos of lesson examples. The material in this Web site comes as a result of a U.S. Department of Education grant for Foreign Language Assistance Programs (FLAP).

As part of the process of developing this resource, contributions came from language acquisition experts: Brandon Zaslow, Dr. Norman Leonard of the Language Acquisition Resource Center (LARC) at San Diego State University, and Alan Svidal and Mary Waldron of the San Diego Unified School District.
